Pizza Night

This coming Saturday (November 15) Taborton Fire Company (tabortonfire.org )will be hosting its monthly Pizza Night again! We will be making and selling our pizzas, which have been voted "Best Pizza on the Mountain", from the Zion's United Church of Christ's Fellowship Hall on Little Bowman from 4:00-7:00, or until we sell out! Phone lines open at 3:00 for your orders! (518) 674-3866. If the connection is lost, please call back... the phone service keeps dropping calls, for which we apologize! This month's Pizza Night is sponsored by the The Towne Tavern at the foot of Taborton mountain at 2850 Rt. 43 in Averill Park (thetownetavern.com ) and by L. 9/11 Remembrance

On this day, we pause to honor the memory of all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and to recognize the extraordinary courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday citizens who answered the call in the face of unimaginable tragedy. We remember the families forever changed, the resilience of our nation in its darkest hour, and the unity that brought people together across every community.

On July 7th, 2022, Taborton was dispatched for a mutual aid assignment to Averill Park fire district. On arrival, Averill Park command had a signal 30 fully involved structure fire and requested additional companies. Responding Mutual Aid Fire Depts: Averill Park, West Sand Lake, Hoags Corners, Poestenkill, Wynantskill, Best Luther and Sand Lake Ambulance.
