Pizza Night

This coming Saturday (April 18) Taborton Fire Company will be hosting its monthly Pizza Night again! We will be making and selling our pizzas, which have been voted "Best Pizza on the Mountain", from the Zion's United Church of Christ's Fellowship Hall on Little Bowman from 4:00-7:00, or until we sell out! Phone lines open at 3:00 for your orders! (518) 674-3866..... This month's Pizza Night we are highlighting Route 43 Slices & More Pizzeria which opened on April 1, in the old Brad's pizzeria location in West Sand Lake. They are our supplier of fresh Pizza doughs that we use to make our pizzas! They use special flour to make their dough, that is made with wheat that's hand-harvested in Italy! It definitely makes a great Pizza dough! Route 43 Slices & More offers Pizza by the slice, whole pies, and a variety of delicious appetizers like chicken wings and mozzarella sticks, and much more! Stop by and check them out! We hope to see everyone Saturday at our Pizza Night! Here's a list of the toppings we offer: extra cheese, sausage, pepperoni, ham, bacon, pineapple, ricotta cheese, anchovies, mushrooms, sweet pepper strips, crushed hot pepper relish, black olives, onions, minced garlic, broccoli... hope I didn't forget any. 9/11 Remembrance

On this day, we pause to honor the memory of all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and to recognize the extraordinary courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday citizens who answered the call in the face of unimaginable tragedy. We remember the families forever changed, the resilience of our nation in its darkest hour, and the unity that brought people together across every community.

On July 7th, 2022, Taborton was dispatched for a mutual aid assignment to Averill Park fire district. On arrival, Averill Park command had a signal 30 fully involved structure fire and requested additional companies.
