In 2016, the Taborton residents saw their TAX dollars working for them. After many years of saving tax dollars, the Fire Commissioners were able to purchase a new piece of apparatus for the Department. The Fire Commissioners finalized the truck contract with E1 on our new pumper, 37-6.

The truck has a four door cab, 1000 gallon water tank capacity, and midship 1500gpm Hale pump. It has responded to a multitude of emergencies, and was the first truck on scene of a Signal 30 structure fire in June of 2018. Since then, it has responded to multiple structure fires across the town of Sand Lake along with many other emergences in district.
